Your Role and Responsibilities:
As a Research Tokyo Student Intern at IBM Japan, you’ll be part of one of the world’s largest and most influential corporate research labs. We invest substantially in fundamental research and core science, with a mission to revolutionize technology and drive societal and industrial transformation. Our focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI) encompasses groundbreaking work in various domains such as natural language processing, machine learning, automated data analytics, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to pioneering research projects in AI and related fields.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to innovate and solve complex problems.
- Engage in fundamental research activities aimed at shaping the future of technology.
Duration:
Approximately 12 weeks in 2024 (negotiable)
Working Hours:
9:00 – 17:36 (default). Flexible working hours negotiable.

Salary:
- ¥9,700/day (for master’s) or ¥10,900/day (for doctoral students) (without housing allowance)
- ¥15,700/day (for master’s) or ¥16,900/day (for doctoral students) (including housing allowance)
- Commuting costs will be covered.
