Job Overview:

Currently, we are seeking qualified and enthusiastic Calculus tutors to join our team. As a Calculus tutor at Learner Education, you will have the opportunity to contribute to students’ academic growth by providing personalized instruction tailored to their individual needs. You will tutor a range of Math topics, including Calculus, spanning from 6th Grade to College level.

Responsibilities:

  • Professional Communication: Maintain professional and timely communication with Learner, students, and clients.
  • Assessment: Assess students’ current understanding of the subject matter.
  • Customized Lesson Plans: Develop and implement customized lesson plans tailored to individual student needs.
  • Engaging Instruction: Deliver clear and engaging instruction to facilitate learning.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor student progress and provide feedback and support as necessary.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with parents, teachers, and stakeholders to ensure student success.
  • Schedule Management: Manage your schedule effectively to accommodate student needs.
  • Learning Environment: Maintain a positive and productive learning environment for students.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 3+ years of professional tutoring experience.
  • 1+ years of professional online tutoring experience.
  • Fast, reliable internet connection.
  • Own a computer/laptop, stylus pen, and headphones.
  • Professional, quiet environment conducive to conducting tutoring sessions.
  • U.S.-based bank account and a valid SSN.
  • Strong subject matter expertise in the areas they will be teaching.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Must have 70% availability during peak demand (Monday – Thursday, 3pm – 11pm Eastern).
