Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resource Business Partner to join our team in Arusha, Tanzania. In this role, you will be responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management within designated business units. You will serve as a consultant to management on Human Resource-related issues and act as an employee champion and change agent.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with management to understand the business objectives and develop HR strategies that support those objectives.
- Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning.
- Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Conduct performance management and talent development initiatives to foster a high-performance culture.
- Resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances in a timely and effective manner.
- Facilitate effective communication between employees and management, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies and procedures.
- Support the implementation of HR initiatives and projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 1 year in a Business Partner or similar role.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proven track record of building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
