POSITION SUMMARY
Equality Now is seeking a dynamic Global Digital Manager to spearhead the daily operations of its digital platforms and drive the implementation of our new digital strategy alongside the Global Head of Digital and Production. Situated within the Digital and Production Team, this UK-based role is pivotal in accelerating the execution of departmental strategies through digital initiatives. The ideal candidate will excel in creating and disseminating expert, authentic, and compelling content across various digital channels, catering to diverse audiences including experts, decision-makers, and funders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Global Head of Digital and Production, the Global Digital Manager will:
- Coordinate and execute the Editorial Calendar, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives across advocacy, corporate communications, and development.
- Plan and develop engaging content for social media, emails, and website in line with communications strategies defined by the advocacy and development teams.
- Collaborate with the Global Head of Digital and Production to refine our tone of voice and brand identity across all digital platforms.
- Manage social media platforms strategically, fostering community engagement and amplifying brand presence.
- Lead the creation and distribution of digital assets including video, audio, and graphic designs.
- Oversee the Equality Now website, ensuring the delivery of substantive and authentic content in accordance with our digital strategy.
- Conduct regular reviews of website content and navigation to enhance user engagement and optimize SEO.
- Manage and optimize paid advertising across social media and digital platforms.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on digital performance metrics and provide insights for improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Minimum seven years of relevant industry experience.
- Proficiency in website content management systems and experience in large-scale website projects.
- Strong understanding of communication strategies and processes.
- Demonstrated expertise in social and email communications strategy and execution.
- Up-to-date knowledge of digital marketing trends and technologies.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in graphic design tools such as Canva or InDesign, with video editing skills preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
- Fluent in English with knowledge of Arabic, French, Spanish, or Russian as a plus.
- Flexible approach to work to accommodate global time zones.
