Position Title: Steel Fixer

Location: Mwache Multi-Purpose Dam Project, Fulugani Village, Kasemeni Location, Kinango Sub-County, Kwale County

Requirements:

1. Completion of a vocational training program from an accredited institute with Level Certification Grade III/II/I in Steel fixing.
2. Must be a Kenyan citizen aged 18 years and above.
3. Certificate of good conduct or application Confirmation receipt and a recommendation letter from your domiciled area chief.
4. Relevant working experience, minimum 3 years, considered an advantage.

Job Description:

• Ability to interpret building plans and specifications.
• Proficiency in adhering to Health and Safety protocols.
• Erecting steel bars, mesh, and reinforcements as per specifications.
• Installing spacers and supports accurately.
• Connecting steel reinforcement bars (rebar), footings, and girders using welding techniques or clips and wires.
• Layout of steel bars, mesh, rods, and framework.
• Flexibility to undertake additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.
