Job Title: Director of Sports – SCIS

St. Christopher’s International School (SCIS) is on the lookout for a dynamic, enthusiastic, and skilled Director of Sports to join our esteemed institution in September 2024. As a pivotal member of our team, the Director of Sports will spearhead all athletic endeavors within the school, setting a high standard for sportsmanship, performance, and student engagement.

Summary:

As the Director of Sports at SCIS, you will assume a leadership role in coordinating all sporting activities, ensuring a comprehensive and enriching athletic program for our students. This managerial position entails overseeing Physical Education (P.E) and games, as well as managing the planning and execution of the IGCSE P.E and BTEC Sports curriculum. Moreover, you will be entrusted with elevating our already distinguished sporting reputation, driving performance enhancements among students, and identifying avenues for growth and development in our sports programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage all aspects of the school’s sports programs, including team sports, individual sports, and extracurricular activities.
  2. Develop and implement a robust P.E and games curriculum aligned with international standards and educational objectives.
  3. Provide guidance and support to sports staff, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
  4. Coordinate sports events, tournaments, and fixtures both internally and externally, ensuring smooth execution and adherence to regulations.
